(Augusta, GA) – A tragic early morning fire has critically injured one person in Augusta.

The fire was reported about 4 a.m. ET on Wed., Nov. 15 2017 on Evergreen Drive.

The victim was found in one of the bedrooms – and a helicopter was asked to transport the victim who was seriously injured.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s department and firefighters will remain on the scene for hours.
