Aiken woman indicted on 16 federal felonies for allegedly bilking the IRS out of more than 100 Grand

(Columbia, SC) – An Aiken, South Carolina woman has been indicted on 16 federal felonies for allegedly bilking the Internal Revenue Service out of more than $100,000.
45-year-old Cheryl Denise Crouch aka Cheryl Holloway Crouch was named in an Dec. 6, 2017 indictment returned by a federal grand jury.
The charges date back four years and include allegations she ripped off the IRS for well over $100,000 in false claims and deductions.
The indictment lists in numerous IRS filings over the past four years that included allegedly illegal – fake – deductions for child care, education expenses, charitable contributions, attorney’s fees and more. The prosecutor in the case is U.S. Attorney for South Carolina Beth Drake.
